Liljeholmskajen

JM is building a new city block close to Stockholm center. About 650 apartments are being built and nearby rock caverns will be rebuilt to about 1000 parking places. It is important to maintain both public and workplace safety in the area since some parts of the site has public access while other parts area still a building site.

Our part

We continuously compiled BIM model of houses, cable and pipe management drawings (water, sewage, electricity etc.), aerial photos and height information from the municipality, Lidar measurements (point clouds), drone captured photogrammetry, temporary roads, roads, pedestrian areas, vegetation into an interactive 3D model.

The result

The 3D-model have been used to understand the tight space better, to help with both internal and external communication and as a base for making decisions on traffic flow, building phases, safety and site progress in general.
